Stainless steel (austenitic) cutting board/template 30x40 cm

This unique all-metal plate (template) will make it easier for you to cut fabric strips. It is specially made for use with a standard 45 x 30 cm cutting board/mat (best for patchwork).

Instructions:

• You fold the fabric lengthwise (so that the stripes are as long as possible) on top of each other (6-8 layers are cut without problems - depending on the quality of the cutting wheel).
• Align the fabric on the cutting mat (in the vertical direction, its edges should be horizontal with the edge of the cutting mat).
• Place the cutting board on the fabric so that the edges overlap the cutting mat. The weight of the board will hold the fabric in place.
• Hold the board with your left hand (for right-handers) and run the cutting wheel in one strip from the bottom end up, applying downward pressure on the wheel.
• And continue further gradually through all the grooves (or around the groove if you want to achieve wider stripes).

For use with gutter 1.5 and 2 use cutting in each groove - distance between two grooves 1.3 cm.
For use with channel 1.3 and 1.5 on finer fabrics, use a cut along the groove - distance 2.7 cm.
